Interpreting Deleuze and Guattari's conception of "Smooth Space" in A Thousand Plateaus, this ongoing video series tend to produce intense and abstract mediated spaces continuously shifting and flowing with nomadic intrusions.

Downtown Lullaby, video performance 2007

Two street performances in video that manipulate the speed of downtown urban life from a very personal action. By slowing down my movement ten times than the surroundings, I created a time measurement of my own.

Comment It, Public Intervention 2007

COMMENT IT explores the relationship between online commentary on Social Commentary Sites such as 43places, Google Maps or Yelp.com and the physical existence of objects Social Commentary Sites' users are commenting on. Using balloons as a mock-up of Google Maps and stickers as a expression tool, I was discovering the psychological reaction city dwellers carry on with them to the physical streets insteading of bringing home to their computers.

Part one of the project took place in front of Providence's renowned art gallery AS220. By putting up a giant white balloon, I ask passer-bys to write, or stick their opinions on the balloon to make comments of the space they are in.

Part two of the project was a walking tour of landmarks in the city of Providence. Participants in different part of the town were asked to talk about their opinions about the space they are currently in.
